The society’s mission is to:
1. Advance the understanding of Pentecostal and Charismatic spiritual healing practices, focusing on the biomedical and clinical effects of the practices, and how they correlate with individual experiences and spiritual meanings of healing experiences.
2. Support scholarly exchange, professional development, and educational activities for medical and academic professionals interested in the biomedical and clinical effects of Pentecostal and Charismatic healing practices.
3. Provide public information and general education regarding the nature and biomedical and clinical effects of Pentecostal and Charismatic healing practices.
